Operating Times:

Tours daily at 10:30 and 2:00pm. Closed Christmas, New Years Day and major public events in the Park.

Important: Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled tour time to have adequate time to check in and start your tour and training on schedule. If you arrive late they will NOT let you join a tour group that has already started training.

There are many paid parking lots and garages within a few blocks of the tour departure location. On-street metered parking is very limited.

Age Requirements:

Ages 12 years and up are welcome. Must weigh at least 100 lbs, but under 275 lbs. Ages 18 and under must have Release from Liability form signed by a parent or guardian


Most tours sell out. Reservations are required at least 72 hours in advance of desired tour date. Tour does not include entry into museums or admission fee attractions. Every tour makes numerous stops for photos. Training takes 35-40 min. Tours are 2.5 hours including the training time. During the busy Summer season training time may be slightly longer.

The San Francisco Segway Tour has only a few restrictions. Riders must:
+ Be age 12 and up over 100 lbs (45 kilos).
+ Guests under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
+ If you are concerned about mobility issues please call them to discuss. We want every rider to have a safe tour.
+ Pregnant guests are not allowed on the tour.
+ Be able to easily and quickly step on and off the Segway without assistance, which requires physical abilities similar to climbing and descending stairs without any assistance or use of a handrail. You will be standing for 2 hours.
+ Weigh between 100 and 250 pounds (45 to 113 kilos)
+ This activity is not recommended for guests age 70 and up.
+ Wear the helmet and safety vest that is provided with the tour.
+ No flip-flops, open-toe sandals, or high heels.
+ Sign a liability waiver.
+ Complete the Segway rider training and test ride.
+ Respect road signs, pedestrians, bikes and cars for a safe enjoyable ride.

COVID Safety Procedures: Face Masks or Face Coverings are required for all guests, the tour guide and onsite staff during check in and during the entire tour. Face coverings are required indoors and outdoors in San Francisco. All touch surfaces are sanitized between tours. We have a touchless reservation process and all waiver paperwork is now digital. We will also have hand sanitizer and wipes available on site. Training and the Training Video will be outdoors. 6' social distancing will be enforced. During rider training the tour guides and trainers will be wearing face shields and gloves in addition to masks. Training is time when we need to be in close proximity to the guests.
